Royal Wedding Tea Party

The sun was shining and all children were dressed in their favourite clothes for our tea party. We made flags, crowns, decorated cakes, danced and sang the national anthem. We had a fabulous afternoon.

We had a great time at the zoo even though it was hot. From our learning in science, this half term, we were able to classify animals, look at how they move and find out whether they are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores.

After looking at all the animals we had fun in the play area.

25.6.18 -29.6.18

This week has been Cultural Week. Year 1 have been learning about Australia.

At the beginning of the week we were visited by an artist who helped the children create Aboriginal Art. The finished designs look great!

We have also painted pictures of Australian landmarks - Sydney Opera House and Uluru (Ayers Rock).

The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Aboriginal Art so we decided to do some of our own designs. I think they look fabulous!
