Proud Pandas - new Reception starters September 2020
It was lovely to speak to the new parents this week who are joining us from other Nursery settings. For those who Mrs Ridgard didn't get to speak to, calls will be made again on Monday 13th or Tuesday 14th during lunchtime. This call will come through as a 01283 number.
We are really looking forward to meeting you in person in September! If you haven't returned the paper work please do so ASAP. We will be in touch soon with a time for your visit on either Thurs 3rd Sept or Fri 4th Sept.
Hi everyone. We hope that you have all been able to enjoy the beautiful weather. Attached is the work for those learning from home for week commencing 29th June. This week is all about caterpillars and we would like you to share the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' with an adult. The power points and worksheets are there for you to use or you can do the activities practically and record on paper. There is a video link below to support the learning. It cut off before I could just say enjoy the weather and take care everyone.
Hi everyone. We hope that everyone is ok whether you are coming into school or staying at home. For those learning from home, the learning for week commencing 22nd June is below. The focus this week is ladybirds. There are power points and worksheets to support learning. If you are finding it hard to print, then these jobs can be done on paper. Try to read as often as you can. Oxford Owl is an excellent website for reading books. Keep up the good work.
w/c 8th June 2020
There are two different packs again this week. Please choose which activities you would like to do from both. If you don't have a printer, look at and discuss the activities or write/draw them out on to paper.
Please continue to practise all sounds covered so far and counting forwards and back to at least 20.
Keep reading too!
w/c 1st June 2020
As we begin the new term, we have added something different for home school learning. There are 2 different packs - choose which activities you would like to do from both. If you don't have a printer, look at and discuss the activities or you might want to write/draw them out on to paper.
It is important to keep sharing books together. Below you will find a link to the BookTrust website which has lots of well known children's books read out loud.
We will be busy in school this week making preparations for children returning to school.
Friday 24th April 2020.
Dear Proud Pandas,
We are very 'proud' of you for all the work you are doing at home. Just try to do your best and do a little each day and remember to have lots of fun outdoors enjoying this wonderful weather. Have you been reading books on the Oxford Owl website? www.oxfordowl.co.uk This is a great website for reading free books similar to the ones we have in school.
We hope you have enjoyed watching our 2 school staff videos. You can share with us the things you have been doing at home by emailing photos@churchgresley.derbyshire.sch.uk - giving consent that we can publish these on our new Facebook page 'Church Gresley Infant & Nursery School - JT MAT'.
We are really missing all of you and hope to see you soon!
Take Care
Love from
Mrs Ridgard, Miss Pickett and Mrs Hackett
