Hello Marvellous Monkeys, Mrs Woodward here!
I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. Mrs Hackett, Mrs Elks, Miss Mee and myself are missing you incredibly and hope to see you all very soon.
Having spoken to many of your grown ups I know you are all trying really hard at home and behaving well under these unusual circumstances.
Below, I have uploaded more learning tasks for the weeks ahead that you can complete independently or with a grown up. Don't forget to be as creative as you like.
Also, look out for another surprise on our school website soon!
Keep smiling Class 4 and see you all very soon.
Love from Mrs Woodward
Welcome to Marvellous Monkeys with Mrs Woodward, Mrs Hackett, Mrs Elks and Miss Mee.
In Geography, we have been learning about our school and we have been looking at aerial views of the school.
From this, we decided to make an aerial plan of our classroom using a variety of equipment. Can you guess what we have used Lego for?
In Science we have been learning about our senses. We have investigated different smells and different tastes using jelly.
We have been working hard in maths to find 4 number sentences using 3 chosen numbers.
Class 4 have been learning about the local area. We love looking at maps!
We had a lovely morning showing the adults what we can do in English.
Who has been in our classroom? Can you guess the story?
We had a great time learning about poetry with the poet Andy Tooze.
We did lots of learning on the Maths Open Morning with our adults.
This half term, we have been strengthening our core by developing our squats and front support skills.
World of Work Week
We had some lovely parents come in to our class and tell us about their jobs. It was really interesting!
