Class 6 Talented Turtles

Hi Turtles, Miss Khan here! smiley

Just thought I'd write a little note to say I miss you all lots and can't wait for us all to be back in school together!

While we must stay at home I hope you're enjoying time with your families, having fun and learning new skills!

I have uploaded more learning tasks for the weeks ahead that you can complete with your grown ups at home, some of them sound exciting!

I've also added some useful websites that have fun activities for you to do on them.

From speaking to your grown ups it sounds like lots of you are enjoying reading which is wonderful! So that you don't run out of books, you can login to oxfordowl.co.uk (a login will be text to your grown ups). It has lots of eBooks on there (some books you may recognise from school) that you can read online. You can search for books by coloured book band, but you don't just have to read books on your book band, because remember you can read anything!

If you click on the 'home' symbol and then on the link under 'Parents', there's also lots of other things you can access for free via the Oxford Owl website. You can listen to stories being read aloud, and even access maths activities too!

I hope you carry on reading and playing and enjoying your time at home.

Lots of heart and hugs,

Miss Khan xx

Welcome to Talented Turtles!

Our class teacher is Miss Khan, and we have help throughout the week from

Mrs Hamm, Mrs Palmer, Mrs Fairbairn, and Miss Mee.

We have PE on Wednesday and Friday, so if earrings could be removed on these days that would be great :)

Homework is sent home on Friday's, and is to be returned by the following Wednesday please.

We made messy maps of our classroom using different shapes

We explored partitioning numbers using lots of different resources

What's inside these spiky green balls?!

Our winter walk
