Pirate day!
Shiver Me Timbers! The children had a fantastic day dressed up as pirates. They enjoyed learning some pirate language, they had fun playing with the small world pirate ships and figures and enjoyed some pirate themed crafts. Thank you to all of the grown ups for helping our children get into the pirate spirit with some fantastic costumes. As I’m sure you will agree, they all look fantastic!
Maths Open Morning!
We loved sharing all of our maths activities with you this morning. Thank you for coming.
Spring 1- Dinosaurs.
We’ve spent the last three weeks learning all about dinosaurs. The children have really enjoyed the topic and have some great knowledge, ask them what they know!

We had a great day being Elves today!
We dressed up as Santa and played in the grotto. We made reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve. We iced and decorated a gingerbread man and ate it with a hot chocolate and marshmallows! We read Christmas stories, wrote letters to Santa, wrote Christmas lists, decorated Christmas cards and made paper chains. What a busy day!
Christmas Jumper Day
We made a poppy cross. We took it to a special Remembrance assembly.
We had a great time at Primary books. We learnt about Mexico. We learnt a story and a song from Mexico. We enjoyed choosing our own books.
We had so much fun being witches and wizards today! Thank you so much to the grown ups for all of your efforts!
Following on from our work on “The Little Red Hen”, we made our own bread today! The children had lots of fun!
Literacy Open Morning
