Welcome to Talented Turtles. My name is Miss Johnson and I will be your teacher this year. We will also be supported by Mrs Llewellyn who will take the class on Thursday afternoons. I am looking forward to supporting your child on their journey in Year 1.

Key Information for Talented Turtles - Autumn Term 1

• Water Bottles: Please ensure your child brings a clearly named water bottle filled with water to school every day.
• Snack Time: Children may bring a healthy snack each day, such as a piece of fruit or a vegetable. Please ensure all snacks are clearly named.
• PE Days: PE takes place on Tuesdays (Fundamentals) and Wednesdays (Gymnastics). Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school at all times. PE kits will be sent home at the end of each half term for washing. For health and safety reasons, children with long hair must have it tied back, and earrings must be removed on PE days.
• Forest School: Forest School takes place on Fridays. Children will need warm clothing or a full set of waterproof clothing for these sessions.
• Library Day: To be confirmed
• Homework: Homework will be set every Friday via Seesaw.
• Reading Books and Diaries: Please ensure your child brings their reading book and reading diary to school every day. Reading books will be changed on Mondays after school.
