Hello and Welcome to Fabulous Foxes!

I am Mrs Pendleton and I teach Fabulous Foxes!

Mrs Morton will be teaching the children on Wednesday Afternoons.

Miss Mee is the Teaching Assistant in our class in the mornings.

I am excited to welcome you and your child to a new school year! As your child’s teacher, my goal is to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported in their academic and personal growth.

I look forward to finding out all the unique strengths and potential of each member of our class and how this will develop over the year!

I believe that good communication between home and school is key in supporting the children throughout the year so please reach out if you have any questions!

Key Information

Our Morning Routine

 - Gates open at 8:40 and the children come into class through the classroom doors leading out onto the playground.

 -    The school day starts at 8:50am (when registers close) and finishes at 3:15pm.

 - A teacher or TA will be at the door to greet the children in the morning so any messages can be passed on.

Homework

Home is set weekly on Fridays. This will be via Seesaw. Homework books will be collected in on Wednesday ready to be handed out on Friday for the following week.

Reading

As well as weekly homework, children are strongly encouraged to read at home at least 3 times a week and have an adult record this in their reading diaries. Children will get a stamp for each time they read at home. The stamps will be tallied up on Thursdays so children can work towards their certificates.

PE

Children will have PE on Mondays and Thursdays.

PE kits will stay in school and then sent home at the end of each half term to be washed.

PE kit should include black shorts, pumps and a t-shirt in your child's house colour.

All uniform should be named.
