• Sports Relief - Walk in the Park

  To raise money for Sports Relief we went on a walk to the Maurice Lea Memorial Park in Church Gresley.

  

• Class 9's Assembly

  Class 9's Assembly featured songs and presentations of all of the means of transport we have been learning about in our topic.

  

• World Book Day

  We came to School early on World Book Day and were able to read books, magazines and newspapers with our Mums and Dads.

• Class 7's Assembly

  Class 7 performed a musical play based on the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

  

• Class 8's Assembly

  Thu 11 Feb 2010
  Class 8 held their Titanic assembly today. It followed the topic they had been studying in class.
  Some of the children reported on their Titanic research project, some enacted a magic journey to the ship and others were actually aboard the vessel (and saved).
  
  
  
  

  

• Samba

  A Samba Percussionist visited school today and each class had some tuition in how to play samba beats & rhythms on real Brazilian instruments. See Children's Gallery

• Snow at School

  We have lots of snow at school again. The teachers have managed to keep the school open all winter so far. Well done everybody, especially Mr Southerd.
